BtoB PR Firm Principal Receives Community Health Champion Award
Arketi Principal Mike Neumeier recognized by non-profit, HealthMPowers
ATLANTA, June 29, 2010 – High-tech digital marketing and PR firm Arketi Group (www.arketi.com) announced Principal Mike Neumeier was recently recognized for his outstanding service to Atlanta-based non-profit, HealthMPowers.
Established as part of HealthMPowers’ 10-year anniversary and in honor of the organization’s founders, Andrew Isakson and Mary Johnson, the HealthMPowers Champion Awards are designed to recognize individuals who go above and beyond in promoting, supporting and enhancing health, nutrition and physical activity in Georgia schools.
Neumeier was awarded the Community Health Champion Award, having served on HealthMPowers’ Board of Directors for three years, most recently as the fund development chair. The organization, which is committed to promoting healthy behaviors and environments by empowering students, school staff, and families to improve health and academic achievement, is funded through corporate and federal grants and individual giving.
“HealthMPowers’ mission of empowering Georgia’s youth to make positive health decisions is one we feel strongly about given Georgia’s rising childhood obesity rates,” said Neumeier. “At Arketi, we recognize the importance of giving back to our local community and are committed to staying engaged with the non-profits and professional organizations we support through time and resources.”
Neumeier and Arketi have serviced HealthMPowers on a pro-bono basis for more than four years. Arketi has provided services such as:
- strategic counsel for naming, messaging and branding;
- creative design for truck wraps, school materials and business materials; and
- content development for annual reports, bylines and press releases.
Neumeier is the immediate past-president of the Georgia chapter’s Public Relations Society of America (PRSA|GA) and serves on the board of directors for Technology Executives Roundtable and Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).
