Arketi’s Ackall Honored As PRSA|GA “Chapter Champion”

ATLANTA – Oct. 5, 2009 – Mousa Ackall, marketing coordinator at high-tech business-to-business public relations and marketing firm Arketi Group, has been awarded the Georgia Chapter’s Public Relations Society of America Chapter Champion award in recognition of his work within the nation’s second largest PRSA chapter.

Ackall is the Social Media Chair of PRSA|GA and has implemented a strategy that entails chapter outreach through social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. Additionally, Mousa is leveraging the chapter’s social media presence to bolster attendance and participation in the chapter’s Special Interest Groups.

“Mousa has been a tremendous asset to the chapter, helping to generate exposure and drive attendance through strategic social media outreach,” said Mike Neumeier, president of PRSA|GA. “He has become an ambassador for the chapter through his diligent involvement and ability to cultivate relationships with both members and prospects alike.”

The Chapter Champion award was created to recognize a member who has significantly contributed to the chapter’s success. It is given monthly or when appropriate. As a result of active members like Ackall, PRSA|GA is the second-largest local chapter in the national society, consisting of nearly 1,000 professionals throughout Georgia.
