The Art of Personal Branding. It would cover the core elements of personal branding, including the essentials of building and maintaining a positive, personal brand.
What can’t you live without?
I can’t live without my phone! From my calendar, to email, text and phone calls, I can’t imagine my life without it.
What is the best business advice you have ever received?
Always remain relevant. Never become complacent.
What is your favorite place in the world to visit?
My favorite place in the world to visit is London. It’s a melting pot of different cultures, and the energy reminds me of my hometown, New York City.
What is the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Striking the balance between spending time with my daughter and advancing my career. I’ve become much better as I’ve learned what it takes to be successful at both.
What is the smartest marketing, communications or PR thing you’ve ever done?
Launch a rebranded website in two months. It was an aggressive timeline, but it was the best way to communicate the capabilities and solutions offered by the company.
Whom would most like to eat lunch with and where would you take them?
I would take Sara Blakely to Bar Margot. Sara has built an amazing brand, she’s an influencer, but the most important role she has is being a mother.
What is your motto or favorite quote?
“What Got You Here, Won’t Get You There.” It’s the title of Marshall Goldsmith’s book and a motto I live by and teach my daughter as well. You should strive for more – not settle for the status quo.
