ATLANTA – Nov. 18, 2022 – Arketi Group was recognized for its exceptional public relations and marketing results alongside its business-to-business (B2B) technology clients, earning nine Phoenix Awards and Awards of Excellence at the annual PRSA Georgia Celebration. Clients earning recognition include Cox Communications, DefenseStorm, Intradiem, Iron Mountain, Körber Supply Chain, Lendmark Financial Services, NCR and the Technology Association of Georgia.
“No matter who you speak or work with at Arketi, what stands out most is our creative energy and commitment to building meaningful, difference-making marketing and communications programs for our clients,” said Mike Neumeier, APR, CEO of Arketi. “It’s those types of positive qualities that make Arketi such a great place to practice our craft, and why we continue to be recognized at each year’s Phoenix Awards.”
In addition, Arketi Senior Account Executive Elizabeth Edel was selected as this year’s Rising Star. With hundreds of media placements to her name, including big hits with Business Insider, Fox Business, NerdWallet and U.S. News & World Report, Edel is a media relations specialist and expert in B2B communications. In 2020, Elizabeth was named PRSA Georgia’s Chapter Champion in recognition of her dedicated service and support.
“For Arketi, this year’s celebration marks more than 15 consecutive years of winning PRSA Georgia Phoenix Awards alongside our clients and partners. It is their collaboration, insight and teamwork that enable us to achieve our full potential and build award-winning programs,” said Neumeier.
Arketi’s Phoenix Awards and Awards of Excellence came in these categories:
Most Effective Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Campaign for Internal Audiences: Working with the Technology Association of Georgia, Arketi crafted the name, logo, messaging and supporting marketing materials to launch the organization’s new DE&I initiative – Bridge Builders. Our joint effort secured more than $180,000 in funding, which enabled the program to hire its first full-time employee.
B2B Media Relations: Driven by demand from call centers for its AI-powered solutions, Intradiem engaged Arketi to execute a thought leadership campaign designed to increase brand awareness and industry engagement. Within 10 months, Arketi secured more than 30 interviews and earned media opportunities reaching an audience of more than 98 million.
B2B Marketing, Professional Services: Following the success of its 2020 program, Iron Mountain called upon Arketi Group to take its already well-respected program to new heights. With an expanded campaign to reach new audiences, the program once again soared – ultimately resulting in $13 million in bookings.
B2B Media Relations: NCR Corporation engaged Arketi to establish a thought leadership platform for two business unit leaders, David Wilkinson of NCR Retail and Dirk Izzo of NCR Hospitality. Within 12 months, Arketi exceeded expectations by securing more than 240 media placements and positioning NCR’s spokespeople as trusted experts and thought leaders.
Research/Evaluation: To equip small businesses with the knowledge they need to best serve shoppers in 2022, Cox Business partnered with Arketi to survey consumers and uncover what motivates them to shop small. The research revealed 20+ key insights that fueled national and local media coverage.
Feature Stories: DefenseStorm engaged Arketi to position CEO Steve Soukup as a thought leader on cybersecurity best practices and solutions. After careful research and planning, Arketi secured and wrote a feature article for Authority Magazine with an accompanying video that significantly expanded DefenseStorm’s visibility and recognition.
Consumer Services Media Relations: Lendmark Financial Services engaged Arketi to establish and conduct B2C media relations to position the company as the lender, employer and partner of choice when it comes to personal and household credit and loan solutions. Arketi met this ask by securing 38 pieces of earned media coverage in local and HR trade media.
Best Use of Data/Analytics: Körber Supply Chain needed to understand what challenges its audience was struggling with most. It turned to long-time agency partner Arketi, and together we developed a research premise and survey for supply chain professionals to benchmark their performance against competitors.
Research/Evaluation: To better understand communicators’ roles in relation to corporate purpose, Arketi conducted a study of more than 80 executives. The resulting report, Purpose in Practice: How Marketers Define, Communicate and Measure Organizational Purpose, offered one-of-a-kind data and insight into their approach.
The Phoenix Awards competition is held annually by the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) to recognize projects and programs that demonstrate excellence from the state’s public relations practitioners. With nearly 900 members, PRSA Georgia is the national organization’s second largest chapter. For a full list of award winners, please visit the chapter’s website.
