ATLANTA – Nov. 23, 2021 – Arketi Group took home the night’s top honor at this year’s PRSA Georgia Phoenix Awards, earning the Best of Phoenix Award for its exceptional PR work with cybersecurity and cyber-compliance provider DefenseStorm.
The win capped off the integrated marketing and PR firm’s run of nine awards, showcasing work with four additional business-to-business (B2B) technology clients: CHEP, Cox Business, Körber and NCR.
After DefenseStorm raised an additional $12M Series B round to meet rising demand for cybersecurity software, it turned to Arketi to help it accelerate market expansion efforts. Together, the teams developed an integrated communications plan to increase awareness of DefenseStorm in the banking, credit union and fintech spaces. Within 12 months, Arketi surpassed all objectives, securing 39 earned media placements, 14 awards and seven speaking opportunities. Outside the PR space, Arketi helped DefenseStorm launch a new website and developed 738 social posts that ultimately drove a triple-digit increase in engagement.
In addition to the Best of Phoenix Award, Arketi’s work with DefenseStorm earned awards in the Marketing – Business to Business – Products and Integrated Communications – Business to Business categories.
“Especially now, the financial services industry calls for cybersecurity technology that can rapidly adapt to a changing marketplace,” said Mike Neumeier, APR, co-founder and CEO of Arketi Group. “Working with DefenseStorm, our team executed an integrated marketing program that drove brand awareness and leads. We are all about marketing that generates revenue for our clients and this program delivered. But of course, we’re also over-the-moon that PRSA Georgia recognized our work as this year’s best communications program.
“Our nine awards across industries as varied as supply chain, fintech, retail and communications are a perfect showcase of how our team can tackle any B2B opportunity and drive bottom-line business results,” Neumeier said.
Arketi’s six other Phoenix Awards and Awards of Excellence came in these categories:
Feature Stories: Wanting to position Laura Nador, president of CHEP North America as a thought leader on sustainable supply chain practices and increase awareness of the company’s sustainability initiatives, CHEP partnered with Arketi Group for a feature story on the future of reusable packaging. After careful research and planning, Arketi wrote an innovative 3,000-word byline for the Journal of Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Procurement that furthered visibility and recognition of the company, its president and sustainability initiatives.
Research/Evaluation: To capture evolving COVID-19-related consumer engagement with small businesses and healthcare systems, Cox Business partnered with Arketi to shift the focus of its annual Consumer Pulse on Small Business survey toward gaining insights into the push to shop small and adopt remote healthcare amid lockdowns. The research yielded 20+ key insights that fueled PR and social campaigns, resulting in 13 key placements in local, trade and national publications that reached more than 3,072,000 readers.
Content Marketing – Business Products: To establish itself as a thought leader in the supply chain space, while building brand awareness and generating leads, Körber tapped Arketi to create a unique, best-in-class Supply Chain Master Class Series that brought in experts to highlight solutions for the industry’s top pain points. Response to the program far exceeded expectations, securing more than 4,600 registrants, a 46% attendance rate and 3% on-demand view rate. The Supply Chain Master Class Series also received awards in the Webcasts and Websites/New Digital Platforms categories for a total of three awards.
B2B Media Relations: Arketi Group engaged with NCR Corporation to build thought leadership platforms for its President and General Manager for NCR Retail David Wilkinson and President and General Manager for NCR Hospitality Dirk Izzo. Further, Arketi positioned NCR as a leading provider of retail and hospitality solutions. Arketi achieved its objectives by securing 136 pieces of earned media coverage in target trade media publications, including Chain Store Age, Total Retail, Restaurant Business, QSR Magazine and more.
