ATLANTA – Jan. 20, 2020 – Arketi Group was recognized for its exceptional PR work with business-to-business (B2B) technology clients, earning 12 awards at PRSA Georgia’s annual Phoenix Awards gala for clients CentralSquare Technologies, Cox, DefenseStorm, Equifax, Featurespace, First Data, Iron Mountain, Miller Zell, NCR Corp. and Stibo Systems. Additionally, the agency’s CEO, Mike Neumeier, was inducted into the Order of the Phoenix and entered into the Georgia PR Hall of Fame.
The Phoenix Awards, held annually by the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), recognizes projects and programs that demonstrate excellence in the state’s public relations profession. With nearly 900 members, PRSA Georgia is the national organization’s second largest chapter.

Research/Evaluation: Taking a new approach to its annual National Cybersecurity Awareness Month campaign, First Data partnered with Arketi to develop a survey focusing on different generations’ views about Personally Identifiable Information. The campaign drove more than 60 enterprise sales leads – increasing the revenue pipeline product by several million dollars.
Marketing – B2B – Products: Set on disrupting the public sector technology market, CentralSquare Technologies partnered with Arketi to create a comprehensive PR and marketing plan with a goal to disrupt through innovation. One year, two acquisitions and one rebrand later, the company has more than 40 secured bylines and a 20-times increase in sales pipeline.
Webcasts: Leading storage and information management services provider Iron Mountain sought to drive mid-market awareness and customer engagement through a four-part webcast series. Arketi executed a strategic digital marketing plan that achieved these goals and exceeded expectations. The webcasts generated a sales pipeline of nearly $1.7 million in potential revenue – with 86 opportunities worth $163,000 already closed.
Media Relations: Looking to maintain its strong foothold in the retail reinvention and design space, Miller Zell turned to Arketi to grow awareness among key trade media through strategic PR initiatives. Using powerful media relations tactics, Arketi achieved an earned media collective reach of over 50 million through 14 media placements in top industry trades – far surpassing Miller Zell’s original goal.
Feature Stories: The Identity and Fraud Solutions division of Equifax tapped Arketi to grow awareness of its OnlyID service and mobile application among financial institutions by positively inserting the product and its subject matter expert into the industry conversation about digital identity. The Arketi team created and executed a successful strategic media relations plan and secured a “must-get” feature article and cover story in Credit Union Business.

Website/New Digital Platform: Eager to demonstrate that financial institutions can trust it for help in staying ahead of cyber bad actors, DefenseStorm engaged Arketi to create a mobile responsive and engaging site, refresh its visual identity and branding and streamline the user experience. The website was attributed to $350,000 of annual recurring revenue in the company’s pipeline within two months of launching.
Executive Communications: To position Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing, Communications and Chief External Affairs Officer Marija Zivanovic-Smith as a thought leader and go-to source on marketing, communications and technology expertise among industry executives, NCR Corporation sought Arketi’s help. The Arketi team developed a public relations strategy that culminated in Zivanovic-Smith winning a Stevie Women in Business Award and a position on the Forbes Communications Council, which resulted in multiple media placements for an audience of 32 million.
Research/Evaluation: Aiming to make a unique impression in the small business solutions space, Cox Business tapped Arketi to reimagine its annual consumer survey. Through extensive research, Arketi created a new survey rooted in emerging trends and amplified the results through strategic media relations efforts. Survey findings reached approximately 2 million people following release.
Media Relations: To differentiate itself from competitors, Stibo Systems turned to Arketi for an extensive media relations/thought leadership campaign. Through placements in national outlet like Forbes and trade publications including Manufacturing Business Technology, Multichannel Merchant and KMWorld, Arketi continually positioned Stibo Systems execs as thought leaders in the competitive data management space.
Feature Stories To grow its thought leadership platform among financial institutions and credit unions, Featurespace turned to Arketi to place subject-matter expert, Founder Dave Excell, into the FinTech and fraud prevention discussion. To achieve this goal, Arketi developed and executed a strategic media relations plan and secured an exclusive feature article in Credit Union Times that reached more than 72,000 readers.
Integrated Communications B2B and Marketing B2B Products: Long-established leader in Master Data Management, Stibo Systems wanted to further develop its “Business-first” corporate message and activate the new message to internal and external audiences. The company partnered with Arketi to develop and activate the new message through an internal campaign and external media relations and trade advertising campaign. Then Arketi helped Stibo Systems develop and launch its new message of “Your Business First,” bringing the message to life. PRSA Georgia’s highest honor, the Order of the Phoenix was established in 1986 to recognize and honor distinguished public relations professionals for their career achievements, significant contributions to the field and exemplary community service. The honor is bestowed on just one PR professional each year. Additionally, Neumeier was entered into the Georgia PR Hall of Fame.
