CEO, Co-Founder

Cheers! I’m co-founder and CEO Mike Neumeier, APR. I use my passion for public relations, marketing and brand building to create and execute strategies that generate revenue and add value to our clients’ bottom lines.

I have earned the distinction of being Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and have been recognized with over 100 industry awards. In 2019, I was humbled to be inducted into the Order of the Phoenix, which is PRSA Georgia’s highest honor. Similarly, I’m grateful for being named one of Atlanta’s Most Admired CEOs by Atlanta Business Chronicle; the Public Relations Society of America’s 2013 Technology PR Professional of the Year; and inducted into the National PRSSA Hall of Fame in 2010.

Before co-founding Arketi with Rory Carlton, I was director of media and analyst relations for a major provider of online services to small businesses. I have also been an agency executive at two large independent PR agencies, and director of news services for Mercer University.

I am a servant-leader through and through, which is why I volunteer with several organizations. I am a past president of the PRSA|GA chapter (the nation’s second-largest chapter of the Public Relations Society of America), a past chair of the Executive Committee of PRSA’s Counselors Academy, a board member of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), an executive committee member of FinTech Atlanta, a founding member of the Atlanta PR Interfaith Prayer Breakfast, an executive committee member of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta, a member of the College of Charleston Department of Communications Advisory Council,  past chair of the University of Florida’s Public Relations Advisory Council, a founding member of the National Advisory Board for Kennesaw State University’s Department of Communication, a member of the board of HealthMPowers, and I’ve served on numerous national PRSA committees.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Public Relations, where I also did post-graduate work. I am married and a long-time resident of Brookhaven (Atlanta). Some say I have an enviable collection of men’s novelty socks and interesting sports jackets.

Rory Carlton

Chief Creative Officer, Co-Founder

Hi, I’m Rory Carlton. The B2B bug bit me in my first post-university job, and I’ve been kilt-deep (I’m from Edinburgh, after all) in technology advertising and marketing for 30+ years. As co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, I oversee the development of all creative and interactive projects, from concept through design and execution.

I started my B2B tech career with Philips Electronics, then marketing management for a division of Lockheed, after which I led a management buyout of a Dutch B2B agency with several international tech clients. I then moved to Atlanta to set up a sister agency. I thought I’d stay here for two or three years and move back. That was in 1993…

I co-founded Arketi Group in 2003 with Mike Neumeier after we saw an opening for an agile, integrated agency that “gets” technology.

I’m the past treasurer of the Business Marketing Association Atlanta and a member of Atlanta’s Technology Executives Roundtable. I have a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of London and an MBA from the European University. I’m married, and I’m a butler to a whippet in my spare time. I speak English with a vestigial British accent, fluent Dutch and just enough French and Italian to read a newspaper v-e-r-y slowly.

COO, Vice President

Hello, I’m Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Star VanderHaar. I oversee the firm’s overall vision and direction, lead our Account, Studio and Content teams and ensure we live up to our tagline “Where marketing generates revenue.”

I have 25+ years of experience in B2B marketing strategy, communications, public relations and digital media in both agency and corporate environments. I help guide companies’ integrated marketing and PR efforts, from strategic plan development to corporate messaging and positioning.

Like Jason Andrews, I am also an Arketi boomerang; in between, I was a vice president with Edelman, the world’s largest public relations firm. I was a client relationship manager and strategic lead for $1 million in annual revenue with various B2B clients.

Along with my teams, I have been recognized with dozens of TAG Marketing and PRSA Phoenix Awards over the years. Active in the Atlanta community, I have also served on several committees and boards, including the Technology Executives Roundtable (TER), Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), Women in Technology, TAG Marketing Society and the American Marketing Association’s Atlanta Chapter.

I hold a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Emory University. I’m married with a college-aged daughter who is a Wisconsin Badger. As a family, we are into major road trips and have driven as far north (from Atlanta) as Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the south to the Florida Keys and the west to San Antonio.

Creative Director

Pleased to meet you virtually. I’m what you call a boomerang since I worked at Arketi, left for a while and returned because it’s such a great place to work. I’m Creative Director Jason Andrews, and I have more than a dozen years under my belt helping organizations conceptualize and activate communications through design. What does that mean? I help plan and bring comprehensive visual campaigns to life – ones that encompass both print and interactive solutions with a focus on strong user interface.

My background includes working for large traditional advertising agencies and public relations firms specializing in internal communications and B2B technology. Along with launching internal communications campaigns for several Fortune 500 companies, I have been the grateful recipient of multiple MarCom, W3, Ragan and Communicator Awards recognizing excellence in strategic marketing and communications across digital, video and print.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, focusing on graphic design and interactive media studies, from Miami University. I’m married and the father of two exuberant young boys, who keep me hopping outside of work. I am also a season ticket holder and founding member for Atlanta United FC since 2017.

I have deep experience working in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, PHP, MySQL and numerous Content Management Systems. I’ve also translated my personal passion for photography and videography to become an accomplished producer and cameraperson. I’ve traveled across the country to help our clients capture and share unique stories through the power of video.

My degree is in Graphic Design with a concentration in Web Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta where, fun fact, my personal website was awarded Best in Show of my graduating class.

Hey, so I’m Dan Earle, vice president at Arketi Group. I’m a marketing and public relations pro with over 10 years of experience building and activating integrated communications programs, branding solutions and interactive events. I’m known for applying marketing technology and automation to drive revenue for clients, which, combined with my PR know-how, make me a driver of Arketi’s integrated approach to B2B marketing.

I started my career at ABM, a national facilities company. I managed integrated campaigns for events and played an integral role in corporate branding, leading to numerous industry awards with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). I also led integrated marketing campaigns for Cloud Sherpas (now Accenture), a global cloud advisory and technology services company. Within that role, I was responsible for content development, event management and email campaigns for the company’s ServiceNow Business Unit.

I hold dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Georgia in Advertising and Spanish, as well as a Master of arts degree in Communication from Villanova. I’m married with two kids, whom I can thank for holding extensive conversations about Bluey, an Australian animated TV children’s show for those not in the know.
